Confidential is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Juneau, AK

Busy specialty clinic seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our medical office including scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, handing referrals and medical records.

Mian Duties:

  • Check patient in/out, assist walk-ins
  • Confirm upcoming patient appointments, ensure patient instructions and paperwork is completed
  • Contact new and established patients to schedule appointments, provide comprehensive information regarding services provided
  • Answer multi-line phone in a positive, polite and professional manner,
  • Send referrals to other providers
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, coworkers, and the general public, while maintaining a rapid response rate
  • Provide a positive customer service experience when interacting with external and internal parties
  • Complete data entry in relevant systems
  • Collect and record patient payments
  • Perform routine office tasks, including ordering supplies, maintaining tidy work area and lobby, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year administrative office experience
  • Ability to interface with patients, insurance companies and others in a clear, positive, and professional manner
  • Ability to operate a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of software programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, Internet
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in the absence of supervision

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour day.

Compensation: DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
